I admire you Aaron. Thank God for Christian Concern! You are undoubtedly right, but as we all know ‘the world’ to which the courts belong is enemy territory. How any Christian would want to study at college, after what they have done to you beats me. I would not! God bless you and CC in your ongoing battle.
Thankyou Terry, much appreciated. And yes...quite! The disrepute they've caused themselves due to firing me far outweighs the supposed disrepute from a short-lived twitter storm. Such folly.
I affirm your stand and unwillingness to compromise. I had an experience related to yours. I taught as a part time adjunct/affiliate for years at the evangelical seminary I had attended. When they began to consider allowing LGBT-affirming beliefs and practices among staff and students I wrote letters to the President, committee and Board of Trustees arguing against it. Only two people ever responded, and only briefly. In the end they maintained the old standards of behavior but allowed for different positions on LGBT matters, saying that it was an issue similar to differences on whether to baptize infants, in other words, no big deal. They simply stopped asking me to teach and I am no longer on their list of affiliates. I was never contacted.
Thankyou Marilyn, and sorry to hear you faced flak for this issue too. As you know, the ideological invasion of institutions happens slowly and subtly, starting out as mere "open-mindedness" and with an attempt to avoid controversy, scrutiny, or confrontation. They are banking on people not speaking up about it. Those who do are usually swiftly eliminated.
Yes, you can see that process happening in various denominations. Fortunately, I have other work and am nearing the end of my career. It is harder for someone like you. I will pray for a favorable outcome.
Well done in your stand for truth, thanks to God for the strength He has given you, and may your enemies, who are the enemies of us all, and who follow the ultimate enemy - may they be confounded.
Dear Aaron, my husband and I stand firmly with you. We were both confirmed Anglicans, and our daughter was married in a Methodist Church, but we are much distressed by the way these churches have wandered off the straight and narrow.
Quite some years ago I was praying about this situation (seeking God's guidance not my prejudice) and saw a plumbline in front of me. So I checked the bible and found Amos 7 v7-8. That was a reassuring confirmation for me.
What more can we do? We are small fry. Thank you so much for standing for the Truth.
I pray that you and your family keep well, keep strong, and know God's peace, blessing and provision for your lives.
This is the first time I have read a defensive of the Gospel so well written for the Public Square. I commend Aaron for taking on this challenge. I will continue to follow his well built defense. It is time to pray for him, Nothing is impossible with God. He is watching always.

This is great to hear - thanks for the update!

Thankyou Paul, let's hope so!

PS I meant to say Cliff College.
Great result,. Aaron. Can you let us know where and when the case is reported (assuming it will be).
Thanks Fiona. By reported, do you mean legally or in terms of media?
Legally, but I appreciate it may not have been. I would have been interested to read the judgment.
