Yes, not to be embarrassed by God, i will tell my almost 19 year old niece (who stays with us for 2 months) that her boyfriend has to sleep in a separate bedroom when he visits us for 5 days. I come from worldly background, family is very liberal and this will be a shocker for them. But i see this as a training, set up by God to help me.
“If you find it easier to offend God than to offend people on God's behalf, then it's quite possible that something other than God has become your god.”
Thankyou, and amen; he certainly did. Perhaps one of the most "troubling" parts of that passage, for some Christians, will be the phrase: "before the Lord", because, they think, "my God would never approve of that..."
I imagine those same Christians have a problem with God enabling Samson to slaughter with a jawbone, what Elijah did to the prophets on Mt Carmel, and Jesus Himself returning with His robe dipped in blood.
Yes, they would be quick to judge Elijah for his judgementalism towards the Baal prophets, who were merely products of their political environment, etc.
"If you find Gods word difficult to stomach, pray for a new stomach".
Brilliant.

Just noticed i posted this at 7:17h
Psalms 7:17 (KJV) I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
Amen!

Great work my friend!
Thanks bro.
Well said. Samuel doesn’t get enough attention these days. God did some amazing things through him. Thank you for not flinching here, Aaron.

See, now I’ve got to write my own piece about the dangers of nerfing the Word.
